An historic event took place in Israel this past weekend – an event that you helped make possible.
The work we do to strengthen the U.S.-Israel relationship helped create the environment for the Abraham Accords to be realized.
This weekend, our vision for a strong and secure Israel at peace with its neighbors took another step forward.
For the first time, the foreign ministers from the UAE, Bahrain, Morocco and Egypt were in Israel together meeting with Secretary of State Antony Blinken and Israeli Foreign Minister Yair Lapid.

The National Board of Directors and I have been in Israel this past week meeting with Israeli officials. The optimism of the Abraham Accords strikes a true contrast with the threats posed by Iran and the pending nuclear agreement that will make the region more dangerous.
We have also heard about concerns regarding efforts by the United Nations to further isolate and demonize Israel. A forthcoming, so-called "Commission of Inquiry" by the U.N. Human Rights Council will likely and libelously label Israel an "apartheid state."
Over the past month, AIPAC has lobbied senators to sign a bipartisan letter to combat anti-Israel discrimination at the U.N.

more than two-thirds of the Senate signed and sent that letter to Secretary Blinken, urging the Biden administration to stop the U.N.’s "discriminatory and unwarranted treatment of Israel," including the U.N. Human Rights Council’s new anti-Israel "Commission of Inquiry."
As we return home later this week, I look forward to providing further updates from our trip, and the work we must do to strengthen the U.S.-Israel relationship to ensure Israel always remains strong and secure, and can further realize the dream of living in peace with its regional partners.
