I know you’re out enjoying your Sunday afternoon – so I’ll make this quick – but I’ve had a wonderful week celebrating the federal investments we are bringing home to our counties here in Virginia.

* $1 million to fund addiction support and treatment services in the greater Richmond area

* $1.8 million to expand a Spotsylvania water treatment plant – because access to clean water is essential to public health

* $900 thousand for the Blackstone Volunteer Fire Department to invest in a new truck to speed up response time

* $200 thousand to replace the roof at The Carver Center in Culpeper County

* $120 thousand to improve fields and facilities in Orange County – an important investment in community sports and recreation

These are the kind of tangible impacts I’m so proud to be delivering for our district – and I can’t wait to see what more is in store for Virginia when we win re-election this fall.
