I know you’re out enjoying your Sunday afternoon – so I’ll make this quick – but I’ve had a wonderful week celebrating the federal investments we are bringing home to our counties here in Virginia.

I am proud of my work to support local community needs and investments, and I’m excited to share some highlights.

$1 million to fund addiction support and treatment services in the greater Richmond area

$1.8 million to expand a Spotsylvania water treatment plant – because access to clean water is essential to public health

$900 thousand for the Blackstone Volunteer Fire Department to invest in a new truck to speed up response time

$200 thousand to replace the roof at The Carver Center in Culpeper County

$120 thousand to improve fields and facilities in Orange County – an important investment in community sports and recreation
