I realized that I left out an important point before: This fight isn't just about stopping abortion bans, it's about shoring up access to abortion in states that aren't fighting bans. We need these states ready to serve as a lifeline for people who can no longer access abortion where they live.

States like Oregon and Washington, where advocates helped pass several new laws that will strengthen and expand abortion access -- and not a minute too late, as nearby Idaho just became the first state to enact a copycat Texas-style six-week abortion ban.

Fight the bans with us and help pass laws in states that need to prepare to help all of the people who might lose abortion access this year.
