Politicians should never choose their voters. That is the exact opposite of democracy. The voters choose their representatives and that is exactly what the North Carolina Supreme Court said when they rejected the GOP’s outrageously gerrymandered maps. Now we have a chance to elect legislators who we can count on – but that means we have to keep up our momentum to turn out communities of color this year.
