The fight has been an uphill battle for over a decade in our state, so it’s very important to celebrate the wins when they happen. We’re over the moon that partisan gerrymandering is now unconstitutional in North Carolina.
This year, we can create true change and move our state forward, but this can't happen without your help. We’re holding a three-day Flash Victory Fund to build up our resources so we can knock on as many doors as possible. Primary season is upon us, and November will be here in a heartbeat. 💓
Politicians should never choose their voters. That is the exact opposite of democracy. The voters choose their representatives, and that is exactly what the North Carolina Supreme Court said when they rejected the GOP’s outrageously gerrymandered maps. Now we have a chance to elect legislators who we can count on – but that means we have to keep up our momentum to turn out communities of color this year.
