[ [link removed] ]Welch for Vermont

Hello,

Great news: This week, Brady PAC, one of the nation’s leading
organizations working to prevent gun violence, endorsed Peter for Senate.

For years, Peter has been a leading advocate for common-sense gun safety
reforms, from passing universal background checks for gun purchases, to
banning assault weapons, to removing the prohibition on gun violence
research by the CDC.

An endorsement from the Brady PAC is a big deal, because it means Peter
has proven to be a real partner in the fight to end gun violence. But
Peter isn’t in this fight for the awards or accolades—he’s in it to help
end the epidemic of gun violence in our country. That’s what he’ll do as
senator if we win this race. And with this grassroots movement, we’re
optimistic we can get it done.

[ [link removed] ]Please
add your name if you agree with Peter that Congress must
step up and pass commonsense gun laws right away.

[ADD MY NAME]

Peter already helped to pass a strong background check bill in the House,
but Senate Republicans and Mitch McConnell refused to bring it to the
floor while they were in the majority. As Senator, we can count on him to
always support gun violence prevention measures.

Preventable gun tragedies continue to tear families apart, but preventing
them isn’t at the top of everyone’s priority list in Washington.
That's
simply unacceptable. And while we can count on Peter to continue fighting
for common-sense gun safety, it’s clear we’ve got to increase the pressure
on Republicans to step up and join him.

[ [link removed] ]We have lost too many Vermonters—and too many Americans—to gun
violence. Add your name if you’re with Peter in the fight for common-sense
gun reform. Let’s inspire his Senate colleagues to join us.

Thank you,

Team Welch
