Last week was a disaster for Donald Trump. From engaging in witness
intimidation via Twitter during ongoing testimony to having the man who
got him into politics declared guilty, Americans everywhere are watching
this administration flail under the weight of its own corruption.

Yet in the midst of these hearings, Republicans can field only one attempt
at a defense: “the Democrats aren’t doing anything!”

Absolutely wrong. My colleagues and I have sent literally 100s of bills to
Mitch McConnell, many of which had bipartisan support! He’s blocked a vote
on nearly all of them.

being a graveyard of progressive priorities and legislation. That’s
because he’s not fighting for the American people -- he’s using his power
to appoint unqualified judges, and defend the Trump administration for
2020.

Election security, the American Dream and Promise Act, the Equality Act,
universal background checks, the minimum wage -- all of these are
casualties of the system of government Mitch McConnell has forced upon us.
