Last week was a disaster for Donald Trump. From engaging in witness intimidation via Twitter during ongoing testimony to having the man who got him into politics declared guilty, Americans everywhere are watching this administration flail under the weight of its own corruption.

Yet in the midst of these hearings, Republicans can field only one attempt at a defense: “the Democrats aren’t doing anything!”

Absolutely wrong. My colleagues and I have sent literally 100s of bills to Mitch McConnell, many of which had bipartisan support! He’s blocked a vote on nearly all of them.
