In a few moments, I'm going to ask if you will please split a contribution between my campaign and Senator Patty Murray's campaign. But first, I want to explain why it's crucial we keep a Democratic champion like Patty fighting for us in the Senate.
A role model for all of us, Patty Murray has been a fierce leader for working families ever since she was elected as the first female senator to represent our great state. And soon, Patty will help make history again when she confirms Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson as the first Black woman to serve on the Supreme Court of the United States.
In the years I've worked alongside our senator, I've gotten to know her as a strong advocate and dedicated public servant. Simply put — Patty Murray gets things done.
