Friend,
Our hard work is paying off.
After a hard-fought push and months of negotiations, President Biden signed the $1.5 trillion omnibus spending package into law, which approves over $180 million in federal funding for community-focused violence intervention strategies to serve communities suffering from high concentrations of violence.
Strong communities reduce violence, not just policing. This historic funding provides resources to strengthen communities and invest in life-saving community-led and public health focused violence intervention strategies by providing:

This is a historic stride towards ending violence in our communities, but with violence rising across the country, we know that is a small investment to address the leading cause of death in our community.
Will you donate to help us continue this fight?
