Dr. Sabet addresses the UN Commission on Narcotic Drugs Dear John, Exciting news! This week, SAM CEO Dr. Kevin Sabet will be speaking before member nations of the UN at this year’s session of the Commission on Narcotic Drugs (CND). He will discuss the importance of our drug treaties and the harms of marijuana commercialization. After Dr. Sabet has given his remarks, the SAM Twitter will share a video of the remarks, so be sure to follow us on Twitter! SAM is also hosting a corresponding side event on March 18 entitled “Lessons Learned from Commercial Marijuana” featuring Washington State Representative Lauren Davis (D-32ndDistrict), who will be joined by SAM President Dr. Kevin Sabet and SAM Executive Vice President Luke Niforatos.
