Fantastic news from the Colombian elections yesterday: LGBTQ representation has TRIPLED in the Colombian Congress ! We're so pleased to share that incumbent LGBTQ candidate Angélica Lozano won reelection and LGBTQ candidates Susana Boreal , Andrés Cancimance , Alejandro García , Carolina Giraldo and María del Mar Pizarro won their inaugural elections. As part of our partnership with Caribe Afirmativo, Victory Institute also trained 10 of candidates who ran, including Andrés Cancimance and Carolina Giraldo.
