Thanks to the American Rescue Plan — which Democrats passed without a single Republican vote — and the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act , everyday Americans are finally experiencing some relief after years of a grueling global pandemic. But it’s not enough and our work isn’t over.
We need to restore and make the expanded Child Tax Credit permanent and make child care more affordable, invest in universal pre-K, and do more to address the everyday costs and concerns of families across the country. But we’re at an impasse.
