Ventura housing activists are turning out to tomorrow's Ventura City Council meeting to demand that the city take action against the surge of unfair "no-cause" evictions taking place as landlords prepare to hike rents and kick people out of their homes before new AB1482 renter protections take effect in January.

Other California cities have passed emergency injunctions against these evictions, and Ventura must follow suit!

Please attend tomorrow's council meeting with signs to show support and make public comments demanding an injunction agains no-cause evictions.

Monday, November 17th

5:30 PM Meet on the steps of City Hall.

6:00 PM Enter the council chamber to bring our demands. You can fill out a form there to make a public comment or submit your comments to the council in writing.
