Greetings! Today is a day of pride for our great country! It’s also an important day of thanks. Many brave patriots fought to give us our independence, and many gave the ultimate sacrifice back then - and since then - so that we can enjoy our freedom today. I remember celebrating as a child - barbecues, fireworks and throwing the baseball with my dad. July 4th was always the best, and my dad always reminded me of why it is that we celebrate: because the price of freedom is not free. Now, as a father, I get to do the same with my kids, and there’s no better feeling in the world than getting to pass along these important lessons!
