30 rule of law innovators will compete at World Justice Forum

WJP is thrilled to announce the 30 finalists for the World Justice Challenge ([link removed]) ! The Challenge is a global prize competition to identify, recognize, and promote good practices and high-impact projects and policies that advance the rule of law in three categories: (1) Access to Justice, (2) Anti-Corruption and Open Government, and (3) Equal Rights and Non-Discrimination.

The 30 finalists – plus 10 honorable mentions – will join WJP in person at the World Justice Forum ([link removed]) in The Hague, where they will present their groundbreaking initiatives to an international panel of judges and participate in the Justice Expo. This impressive group is tackling critical issues in 27 countries around the world including:
* combating gender-based violence
* checking COVID corruption
* confronting racial and ethnic discrimination
* defending disability rights
* promoting environmental justice
* empowering youth leadership
* protecting the right to information
* strengthening customary and informal justice.

The World Justice Forum 2022: Building More Just Communities ([link removed]) (May 30 - June 2) will include dozens of working sessions and three days of dynamic plenary sessions that will dig into the global state of justice and the rule of law, what works in advancing people-centered governance, and commitments and calls to action.
