REGISTER Chamber Adjusts Event Policy to New CDC Guidelines The CDC announced their new framework for measuring the level of COVID-19 transmission in each locality. Under this new guidance, Arlington is now considered to be in Low Transmission, while it had been considered to be in High Transmission under the old framework. As a result of this change, we are now subject to the new guidance from the CDC regarding masks. Their guidance states that in Low Transmission localities, people may choose to mask at any time, but people with symptoms, a positive test, or exposure to someone with COVID-19 should wear a mask. In keeping with this guidance, masks will be optional at Arlington Chamber events while we remain in Low Transmission, unless any of the previous conditions apply.
