Recent polls show that at least 83% of Americans support the U.S.
government negotiating with pharmaceutical companies to lower drug prices.

With a clear majority of Americans supporting lowering drug prices, why is

Big Pharma spends more on lobbying than any other sector. And it’s paying
off. (For them). These companies continue to rake in massive profits, even
as 18 million Americans report being unable to afford a prescription
medication.

This Democratic-controlled Congress has a mandate from the American people
to lower prescription drug prices — and right now we have a chance to pass
this policy by including it in the Build Back Better plan. We can’t let
special interests win.
