March is National Nutrition Month, a great time to learn about the connection between WIC and SNAP benefits, and improved nutrition for recipients.

Did you know that households who receive WIC and SNAP benefits are able to purchase healthier food options, such as fruits and vegetables, that they might not be able to afford otherwise?

Virtual Panel Discussion: How the Other Half Eats
Join Hunger Free America on Tuesday, March 8th at 11am ET, for a virtual panel discussion ([link removed]) with Priya Fielding-Singh of her book, "How the Other Half Eats: The Untold Story of Food and Inequality in America."

From her years of field research, sociologist and ethnographer Fielding-Singh brings us into the kitchens of dozens of families to explore how- and why- we eat the way we do. Her book is timely and important, and was recently featured in the New York Times ([link removed]) .
