Republican legislatures across the country are advancing extreme abortion restrictions. In the coming months, the Supreme Court could overturn Roe v. Wade . With so much at stake, we need federal legislative action to protect access to safe, legal abortion for all Americans.

That’s why today’s vote is so important. The Women’s Health Protection Act would codify the protections of Roe into federal law. Here in Massachusetts, our rights are protected by the ROE Act. Maura was a strong supporter of this state legislation, and as the People’s Lawyer, she’s challenged unconstitutional abortion bans at every turn.

We need to elect a Governor who will ensure that every Massachusetts resident can access the quality, affordable health care that they need, including abortion care.
