Republican legislatures across the country are advancing extreme abortion restrictions. In the coming months, the Supreme Court could overturn Roe v. Wade. With so much at stake, we need federal legislative action to protect access to safe, legal abortion for all Americans.

That’s why today’s vote is so important. The Women’s Health Protection Act would codify the protections of Roe into federal law. The House passed this bill last year, and now it’s the Senate’s turn to act. Will you stand with Maura in calling on the Senate to vote YES on the Women’s Health Protection Act?

Here in Massachusetts, our rights are protected by the ROE Act. Maura was a strong supporter of this state legislation, and as the People’s Lawyer, she’s challenged unconstitutional abortion bans at every turn. 

One thing is for sure – our Republican opponents want to take us backward on reproductive rights. We need to elect a Governor who will ensure that every Massachusetts resident can access the quality, affordable health care that they need, including abortion care. Maura has done this her entire career, and she’s ready to do the same as your Governor.
