The results were shocking: only two places were found completely unpolluted, and dangerous levels of antibiotics were found in 1 out of 5 testing sites.

The Supreme Court is ruling on a case that will determine what precisely constitutes “waters of the United States,” and every sign points to this ultra-conservative court limiting the definition. It is very telling and worrisome that this ultra-conservative court agreed to hear this case even before Biden’s EPA finalized their regulations.

With antibiotic contaminated waters posing a major threat to our health and safety, we can’t have the Supreme Court curb the Clean Water Act’s ability to protect us as it was designed to do.

SEEC Members of Congress will be ready to fight that fight if they have to, but if we lose only a small number of SEEC members in Congress, there won’t be the numbers to ensure the restoration of climate and environmental policies.
