Dear Friend,

February has been busy, and we're not done yet!

Today, Race Forward released a new tool: Organizing for Racial Equity
Within the Federal Government

[link removed]

, which l ays out a clear path f or federal civil servants who are
committed to helping their institutions achieve racial equity. The
resource focuses on unifying strategies and structures that facilitate a
deep, widespread, and sustained commitment to racial equity across the
whole of government. Emerging and leading racial equity practitioners
who understand it is important to continually bring more people together
and to build staff and organizational capacity for change will find this
resource helpful.

Staff Picks

During these trying times, it's important to share the things that keep
us going. In this edition, we hear from our Senior Video Producer, Tiye
Rose.

"Station Eleven is an HBO Max mini-series adapted from the novel by
Emily St. John Mandel. While much of the story does revolve around life
after a worldwide pandemic, it feels like catharsis and it is
beautifully done. It also highlights something we never see in
post-apocalyptic media: what happens to art when the world ends. Does
art survive and endure? I highly recommend it for the acting and
cinematography too."
