Dear Colorado Republicans,

I spent several days last week on the Eastern Plains, visiting with Republicans and local leaders who see firsthand everyday how Jared Polis and the Democrats are waging a war on rural Colorado. They've increased the divide in our state, and their election year rhetoric isn't going to fix it. In the Republican Commitment to Colorado (www.commitment2colorado.com ([link removed]) ), we've promised to end the war on rural Colorado and to protect the industries that built our state. We will remember who feeds us, support agricultural water needs, and listen to farmers and ranchers.

Fentanyl overdose deaths in Colorado have gotten completely out of control ([link removed]) . It all started with the Democrats in our legislature who fought to de-criminalize the possession of fentanyl in 2019. This has led to senseless deaths. Teens are being targeted by drug dealers and families are losing their loved ones at record numbers. No matter what the Democrats tell you this election year, their record speaks loud and clear. They created this crime tsunami, we call on the Colorado Democrats to work with Rep. Mike Lynch and the Republicans leading the charge to protect our citizens."

Two final things --

1) Save the Date! We will be hosting our annual Centennial Dinner on Friday, April 8th near the World Arena in Colorado Springs. Details to come.

2) Check out a new, Colorado-focused podcast hosted by Michael Fields, President of Advance Colorado Institute and George Brauchler. It's called the Advance Colorado Rundown, and you can find it here: [link removed]. Michael and George talk to Colorado leaders about policies, crime studies, legislative initiative, and the Commitment to Colorado. Visit [link removed] for more!

Thanks for staying in the fight!

Akron News-Reporter | Burton Brown: Republicans will stand for agriculture
[link removed]
Akron News-Reporter: ([link removed]) Farmers and ranchers can depend on the continued support of Republicans to ease everyday difficulties facing rural Coloradans in agriculture, Colorado Republican Chairwoman Kristi Burton Brown said Friday.

She’s concerned with an attack she sees on agriculture producers.

“It is clear Gov. Jared Polis doesn’t want to rollback his war on rural Colorado,” she said, pointing to his preferred candidates for the Animal Protection Board. “All three of them were against cattlemen and ranchers. It proves he could care less about rural Colorado.”

Burton Brown was embarking Friday on a four-day tour of such areas, starting in Washington County and visiting Baca, Cheyenne, Crowley, Kiowa, Morgan and Prowers counties.

“The only way I see to end the war on rural Colorado is to elect Republicans,” Burton Brown said. “In my travels through the state, Coloradans are saying they want to restore balance back to the state.”
