Akron News-Reporter: Farmers and ranchers can depend on the continued support of Republicans to ease everyday difficulties facing rural Coloradans in agriculture, Colorado Republican Chairwoman Kristi Burton Brown said Friday.
She’s concerned with an attack she sees on agriculture producers.
“It is clear Gov. Jared Polis doesn’t want to rollback his war on rural Colorado,” she said, pointing to his preferred candidates for the Animal Protection Board. “All three of them were against cattlemen and ranchers. It proves he could care less about rural Colorado.”
Burton Brown was embarking Friday on a four-day tour of such areas, starting in Washington County and visiting Baca, Cheyenne, Crowley, Kiowa, Morgan and Prowers counties.
“The only way I see to end the war on rural Colorado is to elect Republicans,” Burton Brown said. “In my travels through the state, Coloradans are saying they want to restore balance back to the state.”
