Mike Enzi, United States Senator for Wyoming

Retirement security is
an important issue for all Americans, which is why I introduced a
Senate resolution [link 1] declaring next week, Oct. 20-26, as National
Retirement Security Week. For many of us, life is all about working hard
and spending time with our loved ones. While our days can get carried
away with work projects, family events and other chaotic
responsibilities of adulthood, one of the best things you can do for yourself is
to set aside time and effort to save for your retirement. I encourage
everyone to invest in yourself and take steps to build your own
reliable savings. The difference between saving to be comfortable and saving
to be confident begins with contributing to your fullest financial
potential. The key to a financially healthy retirement is maintaining a
reliable savings that you are confident in. Save for the life you
worked so hard for before it is too late. Click here [link 2] to learn

Enzi along with U.S. Senator John Barrasso and
Congresswoman Liz Cheney, all R-Wyo., applauded the Bureau of Land Management's
(BLM) proposed rule to help lower the federal tax imposed on soda ash
mineral production.
"Reducing the federal royalty rate will allow
America's soda ash to stay competitive in the global market," Enzi said.
"Wyoming produces more than 90 percent of the nation's soda ash, and it
is the state's top international export. The BLM's proposed rule to
streamline the rate reduction process is great news for our
state."
