Dear ,
As people are politically mobilizing across the country, I found it overwhelming to figure out how to plug in. I found myself at one of the Center for Popular Democracy’s (CPD) events ahead of a crucial election year, where I saw what it meant to bring people together and think critically about advancing a more equitable society. I knew I needed to support CPD’s work and joined the host committee for [The Guiding Light Awards on December 3 in New York City!]([link removed])
CPD’s intention and commitment to building positive change rooted in communities of color has motivated me to get involved as funding for our movement is critical to our success. [The Guiding Light Awards]([link removed]) is an opportunity for us to lift up the voices of our communities and re-energize ourselves to keep fighting for a future where all of us have the freedom to thrive.
