Dear ,
As people are politically mobilizing across the country, I found it overwhelming to figure out how to plug in. I found myself at one of the Center for Popular Democracy’s (CPD) events ahead of a crucial election year, where I saw what it meant to bring people together and think critically about advancing a more equitable society. I knew I needed to support CPD’s work and joined the host committee for The Guiding Light Awards on December 3 in New York City!

CPD’s intention and commitment to building positive change rooted in communities of color has motivated me to get involved as funding for our movement is critical to our success. The Guiding Light Awards is an opportunity for us to lift up the voices of our communities and re-energize ourselves to keep fighting for a future where all of us have the freedom to thrive. Won’t you join me? Tickets start at $250. |
It’s going to be an incredible evening as we recognize our guiding lights: individuals, campaigns and organizations that are energizing our movement and fighting for our democracy. This year, we are honoring: |
