Join us in the fight for healthcare justice, ecosocialism and Bernie Sanders!

The Louisiana governor's election is right around the corner. Eddie Rispone, a racist Trump-style Republican, stands a pretty good chance of winning, and right now the Republican Party has a 2/3 majority in the state legislature. Democratic incumbent John Bel Edwards isn't great, but we urge everyone to go out and vote on November 16th. We need to save our state from extremist Republicans.

Things are looking rough but there are thousands of working people fighting for progressive change across Louisiana. We're making a difference -- last month, the DSA-backed candidate Marguerite Green won a quarter million votes in a statewide race, running as an out and proud democratic socialist.

New Orleans DSA is campaigning for Bernie Sanders, continuing the struggle for Medicare for All and a Green New Deal, and pushing to revitalize the labor movement.

We're fighting for our values one step at a time. There are so many ways to get involved, and we know it's going to take all of us to win. Here are some upcoming DSA events, we hope you join us!
