U.S. News reported that Pennsylvania is home to one of the “four Governors races that could decide abortion’s future.”

John, if Roe v. Wade gets overturned by the U.S. Supreme Court this year, Governors in states like Pennsylvania will decide the future of abortion access in America.

That means that the winner of this election will determine how — or if — Pennsylvanians can access abortion. And the only thing standing in the way of Pennsylvania’s far-right Legislature gutting a woman’s right to choose?

The Governor’s veto pen.

Abortion is on the line this election — and electing a Democratic Governor is the only way we can protect the right to choose in Pennsylvania right now. Will you chip in $5 today to help keep Pennsylvania under Democratic control? [[link removed]]

Pennsylvania Republicans have made it clear that the freedom to access abortion is one of their first targets if they win this Governor’s race. They’ve made it clear they want to see a Pennsylvania where “there is no right to an abortion or abortion funding.”

Just last month they introduced a constitutional amendment to severely limit abortion — the latest attempt in a long line of schemes to restrict our reproductive rights.

Without a Democrat in the Governor’s office — who can use their veto pen to block anti-abortion legislation — we know Republicans in the Legislature will pass dangerous abortion bans.

With our right to choose on the line, we need our best supporters — like you John — to take action today. Will you help us keep Pennsylvania blue and protect abortion access by donating right now? [[link removed]]
