While everyone in Washington is focused on the impeachment inquiry into Trump's abuse of power, our campaign is focused on people in need of a champion.
I'm running for president because I believe in an America where everyone counts, including people with disabilities. Today I released the most ambitious and bold plan to expand inclusion and opportunity to all Americans: the People First Disability Plan.
Almost thirty years ago, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) transformed the landscape of our nation. Achieving the four key promises of the ADA -- equal opportunity, full participation, independent living, and economic self-sufficiency -- is a never-ending struggle for equality and requires an ongoing fight for justice. That's why I have a plan to fight for justice and prosperity for people with disabilities.
I will be participating in a Twitter Town Hall TOMORROW at 9AM CST with Sandy Ho, Founder and Co-Organizer of the Disability and Intersectionality Summit, discussing my People First Disability Plan. Make sure to send your questions on Twitter using #AskJulián!
Tune in!
