It’s the middle of the month – and we’ve got to hit our goal. I’ve been busy knocking doors in Alamance County (in the cold!! ⛄), but I wanted to take a minute to write you about our work. As a former teacher – and we all know what the public schools in our state are like – I have witnessed firsthand how students of undocumented parents have been forced to miss school due to ICE and the local sheriff’s department targeting their parents.
But we have power in numbers, and we all deserve the right to grow, thrive, and live in a safe environment.
