It is critical to consider the Black Americans whose lives, experiences, triumphs, and struggles have shaped our country, culture, and history, not just this month, but every day. We all collectively stand on the shoulders of giants.

I think of this often as I run for Congress to become the first Black representative to ever serve from the great state of Arizona. More diverse representation in Congress is critical, I hope you’ll consider contributing to my campaign for Congress. ([link removed])

This Black History Month, I hope that you join me in always fighting racial inequities and working towards ensuring equality for all. As we channel the strength, perseverance, and wisdom of those who came before us, let’s commit ourselves to building a more prosperous future.
