When no one else had their backs, Jake and Peanut had each other.
These twin goats were just kids when they arrived at Farm Sanctuary. A family brought them in a pickup truck. They were tied down flat with bungee cords and handled like boxes. We knew they needed our help.
These brothers love each other-and have always loved trouble. Early on, we'd find these escape artists everywhere but their barn-like in an adjoining kitchen space or with the neighboring chickens! They were rowdy, mischievous, and inseparable. Twelve years later, Jake and Peanut have grown up-but they're still side by side.
