When no one else had their backs, Jake and Peanut had each other.

These twin goats were just kids when they arrived at Farm Sanctuary. A family brought them in a pickup truck. They were tied down flat with bungee cords and handled like boxes. We knew they needed our help.

These brothers love each other—and have always loved trouble. Early on, we’d find these escape artists everywhere but their barn—like in an adjoining kitchen space or with the neighboring chickens! They were rowdy, mischievous, and inseparable. Twelve years later, Jake and Peanut have grown up—but they’re still side by side.
