This isn’t the email we want to be sending with 1 ½ days left before our
end-of-month deadline — our FIRST critical deadline of 2022.

It’s a downer, but it’s important that we are as transparent as possible.
Truthfully, despite a ton of effort, it looks like we’re falling behind on
our goal.

In fact, we’re a little more than $121,000 behind what we raised via email
by this point last month.

A slowdown after a big end-of-year push is pretty normal for campaigns,
but with the primary just over four months away, we don’t have the room to
slow down.

The GOP would *love* to see us fall short. They know John is the ONLY
candidate who can flip this seat and beat a Republican in the general
election, according to the latest public polling

That was the bad news, but here's the good news: We’ve still got a day and
a half left to turn this around. We *might* still be able to make up all
this ground. Let’s leave it all on the field and see if we can close up as
much of the gap as possible.
