NBC: Governor Hogan Leads Fight For Big-Tent GOP
<[link removed]>

Governor Hogan spoke to NBC News
<[link removed]>
about the urgent “need” for more Republican leaders who can grow the party’s
appeal.

According to NBC, “moderate Republicans have a strong track record of winning
governorships in states that might never vote for a Republican president,
especially in tough years for Democrats, as this one is shaping up to be.”
Polling
<[link removed]>
has consistently shown that the most popular governors in America are
Republicans in blue states, including Maryland Governor Larry Hogan, Vermont
Governor Phil Scott, and Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker.

According to a recent poll
<[link removed]>
, Governor Hogan’s approval rating is at 74%, 20 points higher than President
Biden’s approval in the most deep-blue state in America and near or above 70%
for every demographic group in the state.

Governor Hogan Atlantic Op-Ed: The Real Challenge To America’s Electoral System

<[link removed]>
Governor Hogan wrote an op-ed
<[link removed]>
in The Atlantic urging Washington to “ignore the phony partisan rhetoric” on
America’s elections and focus on fixing ambiguities surrounding the Electoral
Count Act that helped lead to January 6th.

According to Governor Hogan, “Biden and the Democrats use the memory of
January 6 to pretend that their preferred reforms are necessary to stave off a
return to systemic, racist voter suppression; Trump and his supporters use it
to pretend that he was robbed of victory. Instead of pursuing their
self-interested political agendas, our representatives in Washington need to
focus on fixing the part of our electoral system that really did come under
attack on that day.”

AN UPDATE FROM TWITTER

<[link removed]>
Another example of the cancel culture that is infecting both parties. If you
vote your conscience or say what you think, they unleash an angry mob that
demands complete submission. Most Americans reject the extremes so their
strategy is to attack, demonize, and intimidate.[link removed]

We’ve been successful in Maryland by doing the exact opposite of what we see
in Washington.

Most Americans want elected officials who will tell it like it is, get things
done, and find bipartisan common sense solutions.[link removed]

Maryland gained nearly 100,000 jobs in 2021, as we continue to lead one of the
strongest economic recoveries in the country. I’m especially pleased to report
that our unemployment rate is at its lowest level since the beginning of the
pandemic.pic.twitter.com/syFf9LBD2H <[link removed]>
