Believe me when I say I cannot believe it is already time to run for re-election again (House terms are only 2 years) but I am eager to get back out on the trail and talk about my work with every corner of the Fifth District.
I am proud to have been part of passing two historic pieces of American legislation: the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, which was signed into law by President Biden, and the Build Back Better Act, which is awaiting a vote in the Senate. These are landmark pieces of legislation that will bring our country back to the top of the world stage.
But despite these momentous achievements that will bring America back, political forecasters across the spectrum predict an uphill battle for Democrats in 2022.
