The holiday decorations are packed away… the temperatures are dropping… it’s ON, John!

That’s right… The 2022 Election is HERE. And the January fundraising deadline is the first opportunity we have to prove that we are serious about holding this seat.

• CT-05 is a dedicated “Frontline” District, meaning it is one of the most competitive in the nation.
• The Democratic House Majority is more narrow than it has been in over 100 years. We cannot afford to lose even 1 seat.
• CT-05 is a 50/50 district split evenly between Democrat and Republican voters. The GOP has long seen this district as a place to pick up a seat and now, the national party is honing in on this race with lots of $$$.

I am proud to have been part of passing two historic pieces of American legislation: the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, which was signed into law by President Biden, and the Build Back Better Act, which is awaiting a vote in the Senate. These are landmark pieces of legislation that will bring our country back to the top of the world stage.

But despite these momentous achievements that will bring America back, political forecasters across the spectrum predict an uphill battle for Democrats in 2022.
