Read More Welcome Back Melissa Kenney We are excited to announce that Melissa Kenney rejoined the Doorways team this week as our new Director of Operations! Some of you are familiar with Melissa as she has been connected to Doorways for several years in different roles: Melissa started at Doorways as a shelter coverage and children's volunteer, logging more than 350 hours in three years. As Volunteer Resource Manager, Melissa implemented Doorways' sexual assault response program, now called HARP (Hospital Accompaniment Response Program). She was recognized with the 2017 Volunteer Arlington Leadership Legacy Award for her service. Most recently, Melissa has supported Doorways' finance team and the volunteer program as a consultant, providing critical coverage during transitions and audits. As Director of Operations, Melissa will ensure our mission-focused, client-centered approach utilizes resources efficiently, including outstanding management of our valued volunteers, space, and facility infrastructure. As part of the Executive Team, Melissa will collaborate with all peers as a key contributor as we chart our path to the future. Welcome back, Melissa!
