Hi friend,

My name is Brooke Butler, and I am a proud alum of the Data and Analytics Camp of 2018. I am also a policy expert, digital strategist, and a board member and organizer with the DC Abortion Fund and BYP100. In each of my roles, I apply the strategic skills I learned at DAC whether it be:
* Learning about people’s abortion experiences and using this data to inform how we talk about and advocate for abortion care;
* Establishing data practices, in any campaign, that get us to a win and allow us to engage and mobilize people who’ve been excluded from our democracy;
* Viewing my experience as a Black woman as a unique asset to data analytics. I see data in a different way and ask different questions because of it;
* Using data visualization and mapping to tell a larger story about the struggles people face and the policies needed to address them.

All that is true, and I’ve never even had the official title of Data Director ;)
Are you someone who’s interested in deepening your understanding of data and analytics to build power for your community in elections or organizing? Apply to Data and Analytics Camp TODAY. <[link removed]>

This camp is for anyone who’s a data practitioner and wants to take their skills to the next level as we head into 2020 -- whether it’s in your official title or not. Here’s a snapshot of what you’ll learn:

* Using data visualization and mapping to tell a larger story about the struggles people face and the policies needed to address them. * Create analytics crosstabs of field results to gain insights into a campaign’s supporters;
* Command Line and Python for data management;
* Create field reports for field directors, campaign managers or senior advisors.

Apply today. <[link removed]>
Together, let’s make sure Black women, people of color, queer and trans folks, and immigrants are taking up space and tranforming the field of data analytics -- it’s for you and all of us.
