Closing the Racial Wealth Divide: A Plan to Boost Black Homeownership

To reverse the decline of Black homeownership and advance a more equitable economy, a focus on substantively increasing Black homeownership is necessary. Racial, Ethnic Minorities and Low-income Groups in US Exposed to Higher Levels of Air Pollution

Black Mortgage Applicants Denied 84% More Often than White Borrowers

Nationwide, 19.8% of Black applicants were denied a mortgage in 2020, the highest among races and much higher than the 10.7% of white applicants who are denied.
