Yesterday, billionaire Bill Gates would not commit to supporting Elizabeth
Warren if she wins the Democratic nomination. Bill Gates would rather vote
for an authoritarian demagogue than for a Democrat who would tax his
wealth.

Let us be clear: we have to make the billionaire class pay their fair
share. No person should have the economic power and the political
influence that comes with it. We live in a time of extreme wealth and
income inequality that disproportionately impacts people of color.

By taxing the ultra-rich, we can help pay for Medicare for All, free
college and canceling student debt — legislation that would save millions
of lives. Having less inequality is also just good for our democracy and
society.

The only way that we can make billionaires pay their fair share is through
electing an entire slate of progressive champions to Congress who will
fight to tax the ultra rich. We need you in this fight for justice with
us.
