Yesterday, billionaire Bill Gates would not commit to supporting Elizabeth Warren if she wins the Democratic nomination. Bill Gates would rather vote for an authoritarian demagogue than for a Democrat who would tax his wealth.

Let us be clear: we have to make the billionaire class pay their fair share. No person should have the economic power and the political influence that comes with it. We live in a time of extreme wealth and income inequality that disproportionately impacts people of color.
