Dear John,

On behalf of all of us at The Opportunity Agenda, it brings me great joy to introduce our 2022 We Can Thrive Together Culture & Narrative Fellows.&nbsp;

This inaugural cohort features five brilliant individuals who are actively using culture to address critical narrative challenges in pursuit of economic justice for all. Over the next six months, these writers/producers, visual artists, and cultural strategists will receive $15,000 in support, customized advisement sessions from The Opportunity Agenda team, and access to our incredible network of creatives and advocates.&nbsp;

From public health to drug decriminalization and immigrant rights, these visionaries are committed to showing us what an abundant future for all can look like through their intersectional approach and creative efforts. Take a look at our Fellows' bios below and check out our

Alex Albadree is a BIPOC queer immigrant who divides his time between DC and Istanbul where he creates art for social change. Through beautifully crafted digital illustrations, Alex invites us to take a hard, honest look at our world and at ourselves. And then to imagine a better world. And, most importantly, to fight for it.

Sheri Bradford is a graduate of Emerson College and has been working in the Film and Television industry for the past 13 years. Bradford is also a 2018 Film Independent Project Involve Fellow, a 2018 21st Century Fox Global Inclusion Fellow, and a 2021 Yes And... Laughter Lab Winner. She is a "Sheri of All Trades" and loves expressing her creativity wherever she can!&nbsp;

Nando Alvarezis an Ecuadorian artist based in Washington DC. He is interested in art as a force for individual and collective transformation. His work has accompanied local communities in their struggle for social justice and to strengthen the communal bonds between people.

Annie Del Hierro (b. Quito, Ecuador) is a community-engaged visual artist, organizer, culture promoter, and educator based in Brooklyn - the ancestral and unceded land of the Lenape. She is the founder and creator of Killa Collage, hand-cut collage art that explores individual and collective stories utilizing upcycled mixed media.

Josh Healeyis an award-winning comedic writer, performer, filmmaker, and creative activist. Together with his rabble-rousing team at Offsides Productions, Healey has written and produced political comedy videos and creative campaigns that reached over 15 million viewers and amplified social justice movements across the country. Born and raised in DC, these days Healey eats his daily bagel in Oakland, CA.
And I don&rsquo;t know about you, but I can&rsquo;t think of better inspiration for the new year...
