Lansing Republicans are waging their own assault on women's rights, passing bills that would prohibit women from accessing the reproductive care they need and deserve.

While Democrats have won in recent statewide elections, Michigan's heavily gerrymandered districts have allowed Republicans to maintain control of the state legislature.

This gives Republicans and anti-choice activists a loophole to implement extreme restrictions on women's health care in a way that would bypass Gretchen's desk and authority.
