While Democrats have won in recent statewide elections, Michigan’s heavily gerrymandered districts have allowed Republicans to maintain control of the state legislature.

This gives Republicans and anti-choice activists a loophole to implement extreme restrictions on women’s health care in a way that would bypass Gretchen’s desk and authority.

That’s why Gretchen is taking this fight head on and working with Democratic lawmakers to protect reproductive care for Michigan women.
