Lillian's List Foundation works to ensure that women are represented at every level of government. To that end, we are so proud of the female legislators already representing us in the North Carolina General Assembly.

FEATURED BILL: ADD SCHOOL NURSES FOR HEALTHIER STUDENTS
More than half of school nurses [[link removed]] in North Carolina serve at least two schools at a time, with some serving as many as five.
That's why Rep. Adcock, along with her colleagues, Reps. Lambeth, Gill, and Farkas, introduced the Add School Nurses for Healthier Students [[link removed]] bill last March.
The bill [[link removed]] would require that every public, charter, regional, and laboratory school in the state is staffed with at least one full-time, permanent nurse . The bill also appropriates $102 million [[link removed]] a year to help fund these positions.
School nurses, 98% of whom are women [[link removed]], play a critical role in our communities. Ensuring that every school has a full-time nurse means healthier, happier, and more successful students.
In solidarity,
Sarah Preston
