![]() Dear John,
Lillian's List Foundation works to ensure that women are represented at every level of government. To that end, we are so proud of the female legislators already representing us in the North Carolina General Assembly.
To help amplify the work of these incredible women, we are highlighting one each week in our #WomanCrushWednesday spotlight. This week, our #WomanCrush is Representative Gale Adcock!

FEATURED BILL: ADD SCHOOL NURSES FOR HEALTHIER STUDENTS
More than half of school nurses in North Carolina serve at least two schools at a time, with some serving as many as five.
That's why Rep. Adcock, along with her colleagues, Reps. Lambeth, Gill, and Farkas, introduced the Add School Nurses for Healthier Students bill last March.
The bill would require that every public, charter, regional, and laboratory school in the state is staffed with at least one full-time, permanent nurse. The bill also appropriates $102 million a year to help fund these positions.
School nurses, 98% of whom are women, play a critical role in our communities. Ensuring that every school has a full-time nurse means healthier, happier, and more successful students.
In solidarity,
Sarah Preston Executive Director
